Hi! My name is Luca Soldaini and I'm a -- years old Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Computer Science at Georgetown University.
My areas of research include text mining and information retrieval.
While I currently live in Washington, D.C., I grew up in Florence, Italy, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering.
Beside IR, I'm deeply interested in everything that pushes technology frontiers forward, human-computer interactions and the tech industry dynamics. I'm really passionate about politics, human rights and I love to discuss about design, event though I'm not an expert.
I enjoy freshly brewed black coffee, podcasts and running.
I'm active on a few of social networks out there: you can find me on Twitter @soldni, on Facebook or on AppDotNet.
If you prefer, you can call or chat with me on Skype or contact me via iMessage.
If you have questions about anything related to my activity at Georgetown University (including questions about my TA activity), please get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org. For everything else, send an email at email@example.com.
